The Source of Personal Fulfillment

What can one do to be a better human being and live a genuinely fulfilling existence, free of pretense and egoic self-absorption?

Realize deeply that everything you do serves humanity. And your experience will be more fulfilling when it reflects a deeper truth of interconnectedness. Do no merely meditate to improve one’s state; meditate on behalf of all human beings. See that the sacred moment of pure meditation ripples out and influences every atom in the universe instantaneously and simultaneously. See that the transformation of the one is inseparable from the transformation of all.

Nothing you do happens in isolated quanta. Everything is exquisitely, intricately connected on a level that the time-bound, linear thinking mind can never truly grasp in any lasting way. The function of mind is to align with the underlying intelligence of non-linear, non-local, non-time Being of consciousness. Beyond that, the mind serves no meaningful purpose. It just makes noise based on the insanity of the collective human conditioning that it has been entrained to resonate with.

The sooner you accept that the mind’s only function is to align itself with the spontaneous aliveness of universal activity, the sooner you will master the mind, that is to say, harness it as a useful tool for manifesting the will of universal non-linear intelligence. You can use the mind as a tool of creativity and benevolence instead of being used by the mind as a pawn of its own self-destructive schemes.

The mind, when in control of its host consciousness, is the root of all so-called evil, dysfunction, and unnecessary suffering on this planet. When consciousness regains internal control of the collective mind, peace will begin to accelerate on the level of outer form. This is inevitable. But the question is, will you choose to live in accordance with what is inevitable, or will you continue your fight with the mind that is only interested in its own survival?

When the human being starts living for everyone’s benefit, that human being benefits. Living for just oneself is like having a whole bag of Halloween candy and eating it all, instead of sharing it with the neighborhood kids so everyone gets candy. You end up with a stomachache, and no one else receives the benefit of your generosity and so you remain unconscious of your intimate connection with them.

The answer to personal misery is in service to humanity. We are all here to help each other flourish and thrive. Embrace your larger self, the body of humanity that you are, and discover the path of true fulfillment and happiness.
